The Boston Symposium on Psychology and the Law is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. The Boston Symposium on Psychology and the Law maintains responsibility for this program and its content.
The function of The Boston Symposium on Psychology and the Law is to offer high quality continuing education through presenting and discussing issues concerning the intersection of psychology and the law. The inception of the idea for the Symposium was generated by a group of psychologists, who saw a need for high quality presentations and collaboration to improve upon the science of forensic psychology. The Symposium seeks to advance knowledge and skill as it pertains to research, education, and practice involved in forensic psychology.
